The gorgeous boutique property, Jade Mountain is not only located on the gorgeous island of St.Lucia but in one of the most breathtaking locations on the island, and the world for that matter, overlooking the incredible and iconic Pitons. These incredibly beautiful mountains are what made me fall in love with the island over 16 years ago. At Jade Mountain, the rooms are referred to as Sanctuaries rather than rooms, suites or villas and it’s for a good reason. One that you will understand the moment you arrive at this special property. Each sanctuary is connected by bridges, with guest rooms appearing to float out onto platforms from the resort. With only 29 sanctuaries in the property, each is uniquely and distinctly designed so each guest has a one of a kind experience complete with butler service. Like the sanctuaries, the bathrooms of the resort are individually designed to best capture the surrounding landscape and are equipped with rain shower and chromotherapy whirlpool tubs. Set into the side of a hill, all the sanctuaries at Jade Mountain bost infinity pools and are open-air; with no fourth wall or window to obstruct your view. This gives you the illusion of diving into the breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Piton World Heritage Sight and the Caribbean Sea. The open concept and natural soundtrack of birds allow you to feel fully immersed in this Caribbean paradise. There are two restaurants on the property. However, when staying, my favorite place to dine is in the room. Your butler can arrange a magical dining experience beginning at sunset overlooking the majestic pitons in your sanctuary. In fact, most of the experience in the property revolves around really experiencing your sanctuary. Why would you want to leave?
